 editing mixer tracks
I am using an Ion IED05 drum set connected by usb to v 9.4 When I hit a pad hydrogen always plays the kick on mixer track 1, the snare on track 3, the closed HH on 7 ect. Is there some way to the paticular tracks in order so the are not spread out in the mixer? the drum kit does not allow changing of the midi note for the pads.

Hi!

You can move the instruments around by dragging them to another position ( in the instrument list).

 mixer tracks
I'm aware that the instruments can be moved to different tracks. The Ion controller does not have the option to change the midi note of the pads. The kick is 36(I believe) and that is the midi note mapped to track 1. Track 2 is therefore 37. My Ion kit has no pad mapped to 37. The snare in the kit is 38 so it always has to trigger mixer track 3. Ion has nothing assigned to 39-40-41 so those tracks are always empty. See where this is going? This causes my 8 piece kit to spread out over 22 tracks. Also, when I load one of the kits made by some one else I have to do a lot of juggling to use it. What I would like to do is remap the mixer tracks to my pads midi note. Is this possible? If not it would be a nice feature of future versions to allow mapping the mixer tracks.

Hi!

You can create new ( empty ) Instruments and use them as placeholders for the unmapped notes on your controller.
Yes, this feature is definitely on our list :)
