I'm totally new to this but I've been playing guitar for years and can't afford a real drum kit.

I imported Colombo drum kit sound library and among the flac files I added some that are for the sound of a hi hat being hit open and then closing all the way, in one complete sound (there are actually 4 of these), but they won't show up inside Hydrogen.

How do I add individual sounds to a kit? Is there some sort of web site or instructions for using Hydrogen? The manual is woefully brief and unhelpful.

I just figured it out, for anyone else as clueless as me:

You open the little instrument editor window in Hydrogen, click on the right tab (layers) --> click the load layer button --> browse for the flac, wav, au or aiff file you want to add to the kit and there you have it. Please note, it didn't change the name, so you have to do that yourself, and if it doesn't make any noise when you click it (and it's greyed out to the right, right-click it and click mute to unmute it.
