Hi all,
Ive just migrated from nuendo/windows to ardour/ubuntustudio.

So far everything is going good except the drums samples are lacking realism. I have sort of mastered hydrogen for what i need and it is simply kickass- so kudos there.

I have http://www.Fxpansion.com module and cant get it working in wine(which is another issue) but was wondering if anyone has imported them into hydrogen?

And if so how?

Cheers,
luddite

Hi

The way I did it by opening each sample in audacity and exporting it as a .wav sample; it gets greatly reduced in size but hydrogen will then be able to use it. It's a bit tedious going through each layer and there might be a better way to do it, but it works.

Thanks ignotus.

You are correct - it can take time and is messy.

One way i found was use nuendo to split the tracks on export. Saves about a year :-)
