Finer Control of Plug-in Effects

HI, I just starting using Hydrogen .9.3 on Fedora core 7, which was bundled with PlanetCCRMA. It works fantastically!

One frustrating thing, which I have searched for in the docs and haven't found, is other than using the slider controls with a mouse there seems to be no way to control the effect's parameters in a precise manner. Of course I could be missing something here, but are the sliders the only way to control them? Since this method doesn't allow for very precise settings even with the mixer adjustments, I can't help but think I just missed the page on precisely adjusting parameters.

Any directions on this will be much appreciated.

As far as I can see, there is no way of adjusting the effects parameters precisely. i.e. attack of a compressor cannot be typed in.

The wetness of the effect can be set by adjusting the effects knob on each instrument. This helps with reverb etc. where the reverb is sometimes too harsh.

Sorry I could not answer your question directly,
