I have a bunch of Taiko drum samples that our group recorded that I want to put into a drumkit. I see that the drumkit manager is marked as OLD and obsolete in the Tools menu. This is with Hydrogen 0.9.4-svn95M on Mac OS X. Is there a new drumkit manager somewhere that I should use instead? Would I regret using the obsolete one?

While I am here, I want to thank everyone who worked on Hydrogen. I found it easy to use and very stable on Linux. Keep up the excellent work!

hi, if you also work with a linux machine you can download and compile the current version from the qt4 unstable branch.

svn co http://hydrogen-music.org/svn/trunk hydrogen

i dont know if you are an practical linux user.
you need subversion and have to clear some dependences that you can build hydrogen with scons.

with the current 0.9.4 version rev 405 you get the new sound library featurs to create save and export h2drumkits.
you also can build a working kit for the 0.9.4version while using the stabel 0.9.3 version, but the newer 0.9.4 kits have a extra license node in drumkit xml file.

Thanks! I'll try it when I get back to my Linux machine.

To be more clear:
i cannot find a way to access any of the windows that are described in the:
"2.6.3. Drumkit manager" paragraph of the manual to upload, save and import a drumkit.

Hi!

Please use "Instruments > Import Soundlibrary" to get more drumkits!
