hi,

I try to run hydrogen on my eeepc 1000h (ubuntu-eee). It works quite good but only with oss audio interface. The disadvantage is: time code does not work, real time recording by pc-keyboard is not usable because of delays and the most of effects run via jack.
but jack produces not acceptable lags, delays and distortions.
Has anybody running hydrogene via jack on eeepc without problems?

regards

Hi,

you should try to build a realtime kernel for your system. I would suggest to ask at the "linux audio users" mailing list for more tips, there was a post today in which a person stated that the laptop is usable as a softsynth.
