Hi..
I've problems running hydrogen-0.9.4-rc1-1
It seems to compiles and installs fine, but I get a segmentation fault when I try to run it.

I get the following message when I run it under gdb
----------------------------------
[New Thread 0x42575950 (LWP 27059)]

Program received signal SIGSEGV, Segmentation fault.
[Switching to Thread 0x42575950 (LWP 27059)]
0x00007f832f72a2a8 in QString::fromLatin1_helper ()
from /usr/lib/libQtCore.so.4
----------------------------------
Anyone with the same problem ? .. any ideas ?

Cheers !

Gerard.

hi Gerard!

Can you try to move your .hydrogen folder to .hydrogen-backup and restart hydrogen? It would be very helpful if you would just move the folder and *not* delete it :)

hey mauser :).. I get exactly the same behaviour
It seems that the problem is at the method QString::fromLatin1_helper.. is it maybe a Qt4 problem instead of an Hydrogen problem ?

Thanks,

Gerard.

Hi Yeri!

Have you experienced the same behaviour with beta3 or is it new??
It would be nice to know when the problem appeared, so we could narrow it down to some lines of code :-/

hey.. same behaviour in beta3.. In fact I think that is the same behaviour for all hydrogen versions using qt4 since the segfault comes from a call to a method in libQtCore.so.4

I downloaded and compiled from subversion, and got exactly the same..

On the other hand the apt-get installed hydrogen (0.9.3-5.1) runs fine

Gerard.

I just got the latest ubuntu jaunty updates which apparently fixed some qt4 problems that were messing up my hydrogen. Now everything seems to be working perfectly
