how to load a drumkit at startup from command line

Hi,

I'm running hydrogen 0.9.5-svnexported and I cannot load a drumkit from command line with the -k (--kit) option as suggested in the usage:

Usage: hydrogen [-v] [-h] -s file
-d, --driver AUDIODRIVER - Use the selected audio driver (jack, alsa, oss)
-s, --song FILE - Load a song (*.h2song) at startup
-k, --kit drumkit_name - Load a drumkit at startup
...

This feature would be useful to restore a whole audio session (with multiple apps) through bash scripts as explained in http://digitaldub.wordpress.com/2009/12/16/linux-audio-session-scripting/

Hi Gerard!

At the moment this feature exists only in the no_gui version of hydrogen and is pretty much undocumented. It's a bug that it appears in this output. At the moment i'm thinking about how we implement such a feature in the gui version of hydrogen in a nice way.. But thanks for reporting this, i've already forgotten that i have to finish it.
Feel free to file a bug/feature report for this issue!!

Hi Gerard!

You can open a new ticket here: http://www.assembla.com/spaces/hydrogen/tickets

If you add a ticket it is easier for us to receive feedback from you after the feature is implemented ( you (can) get notifications when the state of the ticket changes ).

Hi,

I cannot create a ticket in assembla. I've tried with different PCs but there is no way to see the 'New Ticket' button as shown in the video (I'm already logged in). Are you having the same problem ?

I've created an account, watched the assembla tutorial video, but when i want to add a ticket there is no 'add ticket' button (like it is shown in the assembla tutorial video) ??

i really want to help here, but if i cant create a ticket ... it's kinda hard to do ;-)

any help would be appreciated !

EDIT : oops, dont know what happened, but all of a sudden the button is there ?? maybe it just took some time to register ? ah well, it works !

@thijz: Have you tried to create a ticket? Or did it not work for you? I don't see a new ticket there..
Sorry for the need to register, but we were forced to do this by the massive amount of spam..

i think it will work, but i created the account during my lunch break and didnt have time any more to create a ticket :-/
