enjoy all new 0.9.5 features including undo/redo for pattern- and songe-editor.

no installation required. just decompress the zip file and double click the hydrogen.exe.

hi, here is a second version with some bug fixes and improvements.
bug fixes
* import from ogg based drumkits now works
* fix segfault on remove drumkit from library function

improvements
* the package includes the rubberband cli client to modify samples

example. you have a 4/4 drumloop sample with a other tempo than your h2 song. now you can fit the sample length to the hydrogen pattern length in dependences to the bpm settings. this allow you to play drumloops or other samples in time with the hydrogen sequencer. of course without pitch effects.
edit:
of course you can use the hydrogen sample-editor to control the rubberband cli. you don't need experience with the windows cmd to get it working. :)

some feedback or bug-reports( just here into this forum thread ) are welcome.
because i have no access to other windows computers to do some more tests. on my windowsXP system everything works fine.

edit:
i also have create a package with really cool drumkits inside.
*bigmono
*gscw-1
*gscw-2
*kawai xd5 kit
*free-kit (for sure an really high quality kit)
*ratmilk_1.0.4

some of of this kits needs around 80-130 mb space. but i have convert them to ogg kits. so i have reduced the space from ~700mb to 35mb for all kits.
the quality is nevertheless super.
the drumkits are not available from the official hydrogen sourceforge download page.

in moment i can not publish this package here, because a unclear licences situation. i try to get agreement from the original creators to publish them collected into the windows binary package.

greetings wolke

Hey it works here! Nice work!
Just a little thing: you can remove the .svn directory to squeeze a bit the file size.

Ciao

thx,
i remove the hidden svn directory's in rev2. it save ~3 mb space.
but i notice a left autosave.h2song file into the rev2 package. i will create a new package, and i think i will remove the autosave function under windows.

You should use "svn export" instead of "svn checkout" to get a copy of the repository without svn directories!

good news,
rev3 includes jack audio support.
also i have reduce the driver checkbox to portaudio and jack.
also i fix some smaller errors.

get rev3 here
http://popez.org/~wolke/hydrogen/winbin/hydrogen0.9.5_win32_bin-rev2.zip
EDIT at 22:23:
sorry an ERROR. i link to rev2
here the right link:
http://popez.org/~wolke/hydrogen/winbin/hydrogen0.9.5_win32_bin-rev3.zip

to run hydrogen with jack, you have to download and install the jackdriver.
http://www.grame.fr/~letz/jack-1.9.5.tgz

on my sytem i have to start jack by clicking
programs ->jack->JackPortaudio

later i can open the Jack control tool.
on my system if i try to start the driver direct from the control tool will produce a broken audo output.

what ever after start the jackportaudio driver you can start hydrogen and select the jack driver in preferences dialog.

enjoy

Hi!

Cool, jack is really a nice feature on windows. But i don't have luck with jack on any of my windows systems, tried a windows 7 pc and xp in a virtual box. jack failed to start on both of them :-/

Btw., what did you to solve the flac-problem? I thought about using libsndfile in the future for all file types and to get rid of flac

i switch to libsndfile. i have compiled with libsndfile 1.0.21 which include flac ogg and so on.
in sample.cpp i have remove the flac switch. now all files will opend by using the libsndfile sf_open function. really easy:).

>ried a windows 7 pc and xp in a virtual box. jack failed to start on both of them :-/
do you try the current jack version. i have no problems here on my thinkpad.

i found an link error in my previos post. maybe you have download the rev2 instead the rev3.
