Ritartando

Hi! I'm working on finishing up the drum line for a song and I wanted to end it with a ritardando. I can't find a way to do this.

What I've done currently is take the BPM from 120 (where I left it for most of the song) and put the penultimate pattern to 60. This is okay, but I'd still really like to be able to do a ritardando instead, at least for comparison. And I'd like the feature for future songs if it's not available now.

So, is there a way to do it? If not, could this feature be worthy of a wish list bug report (assuming you're using something like Bugzilla)? Ideally, I'd want to be able to specify a lower BPM for one pattern or set of patterns in the song and have the tempo decrease from the beginning (previous) tempo to the specified lower one. Of course, being able to do an accelerando (the reverse) would be good, as well. I imagine that would work the same as the ritardando, only specifying a gradual change to a higher BPM. An ability to shape the graduation of the change would be nice, but I'd be happy either way.

Hi!

At the moment we have only the "BPM timeline" to introduce tempo changes between two patterns, which is most probably not what you're looking for :/ You could try to emulate it by using short patterns and change the tempo with each pattern a little bit, but i can see that this is a not nice solution..

A ticket in our bugtracker for a linear tempo change between patterns does already exist and can be found here: https://github.com/hydrogen-music/hydrogen/issues/316

Thank you very much! I'm also glad to see that it was added to the milestone already. I added a comment, nonetheless.
