I updated from 0.9.7preview Windows version to 0.9.7beta2 and now the kits I made with the preview version no longer work. this only happen with the drumkits made by me.

I noticed when I update from 0.9.6 to 0.9.7 that the new drumkits were placed in C:\Users\MYNAME\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\Hydrogen\hydrogen\data\drumkits and in the 0.9.6 version were placed in C:\Users\MYNAME\.hydrogen\data\drumkits The same place of 0.9.7beta2. I've changed the paths, but nothing changed.

I returned to the 0.9.7preview version, And everithing works again. But I've would like to try the update.

Thanks.

P.S the FX doesn´t work since 0.9.7preview Windows.

Hi!

What exactly do you mean by "the kits no longer work" ? Do you get an error message when loading a kit? Or are they just not showing up in the soundlibrary?

Of course, I forget to specify... I mean I can import, i can see them in the sound library, but when I load them there´s not sound.

Thanks again.

Sorry to hear that, this is something we definitely want to avoid. Hydrogen 0.9.7 uses a new drumkit format to allow the use of different components per instruments. Could you supply us somehow with a small example drumkit which does not work in 0.9.7beta2 but in 0.9.7-preview? You could create a github ticket (zip files up 25mb should be supported there).

Btw, if you're creating a drumkit in 0.9.7, you can't load it in older version correctly. This is why we created an "export to older version" dialog.

Hello there again.

Well here there´s an exemple of drumkit and the way I´ve have created the Drumkits in version 0.9.7 preview. In version 0.9.6 I was in learning process (I still in learning process):

Well. I Forget to give an answer to myself (What a solitary world is this). I don't know the other people who use Hydrogen in Windows (7 64bit) have this problem, but I have never could export the drumkits, What I have at the end is an .h2drumkit without nothing inside. The way I use to save my libraries is:

Everytime I export my drumkit from Hydrogen program. it makes a folder with wavs and a drumkit.xml file in C:\Users\MYNAME\.hydrogen\data\drumkits\ . I pack that folder in a zip and then I change the extention from .zip to .h2drumkit... And that's all, there is my drumkit.

But in the 0.9.7 version my drumkits didn't work... Well I found the solution:

I discovered Hydrogen create a folder in temp files C:\Users\ANTONIO\AppData\Local\Temp\Hydrogen - And inside place the drumkit.xml . Well, all I have to do is change that drumkit.xml for the drumkit.xml I have in C:\Users\MYNAME\.hydrogen\data\drumkits\MiDrumkit - Again pack the entire folder in a zip and change the extension to .h2drumkit And will work perfectly in whatever version of Hydrogen (depending of the parameters of my exportation). Thanks.

Thanks for the feedback. Sure it will help the Hydrogen developers to understand what's going on here.
