Hello Hydrogen team and users. This was a kit made by a Nigerian producer that now lives here in Brazil, precisely in the state of Bahia, for a steinberg's synthetizer called "Halion" that i have no idea about. So i downloaded it from his website and made this kit. I liked too much the results and i wanted to share it. I was searching something like this because i need a pandeiro player for a film project and i don't know anyone. Something strange for a guy that lives in Brazil and should be surrounded by pandeiro players hahahaha.

I asked him about distribute this material and he showed to be totally agree about this, so now i'm here.

I want this kit may be uploaded to the root repositorie of Hydrogen so anyone can download it as i did with some kits.

Here is the link to it: https://mega.nz/#F!3Usy0BpL!Zcef4zG3ohGrfIrJN_-7ng
I don't know anything about git hub, but if i could join this project i would be able to update it. Because i didn't worked too much on parameters like ADSR envelopes and others. This is why i call it "v0.1"

Here is the information/description text you will find in this drumkit:

A quite complete drumkit with afro-brazilian instruments Agogo, Berimbau, Caxixi, Cowbell, Cuica, Pandeiro, Rebolo, Reco-reco, Surdo, Tamborim, Timba, Timbal, Triangulo (Triangle) and Apito (Whistle). These instruments are found in famous genres such as Samba, Bossa nova and many others.

This drumkit counts with fast and slow attacks, pitch and gain variations of the same instrument in attempt to make it sound more natural. It was originally created by the brazilian-based producer and multi-instrumentalist Dave "Sultan Makende" Yowell for Steinberg's Halion Sampler. In his homepage you can also find more info and samples of other instruments: http://sultansound.com/

All samples was converted from .AIFF files into .WAV files at the resolution of 44.100Hz at 32-bit depth by Audacity.

P.S.: I don't know anything about git hub ;/ I want to join you on git hub so i can upload more versions of this kit because i didn't worked too much on parameters like ADSR envelope and other filters. This is why i call it "v0.1".

Hi, just to let you know that I've integrated this drumkit into my project "LibraZiK" which is a GNU/linux audio distribution. It is then next to another small batucada drumkit I've been doing myself years ago but which is way lesser great than yours.

Once again, Obrigado !
