Export track messed up after BPM changes

I am using Hydrogen 0.9.6 on windows 7 and everything has been great up until now. I had a song going and I had already exported many copies of it but I reached a point in the song where I wanted to do a BPM change and everything went to hell after that. I put in the BPM changes using the "time line edit" feature and then when I exported the usual WAV file and listened to it everything was jumbled up. It was only one pattern played over and over again and it wasn't even playing correctly, there was bass drums where there wasn't suppose to be etc. On top of that after exporting the file the program essentially became useless. When I click on play for instance nothing happens. It would seem that something with the tempo change feature is causing the program to bug out.

Hi!

There have been problems with exporting songs with tempo changes in the early versions of hydrogen 0.9.6. You could try the 0.9.7 beta version for windows, this should export your songs without a problem.. Please report back if this is not the case!

Thanks. I switched to 0.9.7 beta for windows and now I'm having other problems. I can't seem to get the FX to work. On 0.9.6 I had no issues but now when I click on edit in the mixer window nothing happens. Am I missing something? Secondly is there a way to do a cymbal choke? I tried to look up the answer and what I found was from 2009 so I'm just checking to see if that is now possible.
