How Do You Save Instrument MIDI Note Values ???

I am using Hydrogen to write and save midi songs to export into my DAW.

When Hydrogen is first loaded the midi note values in the midi note instrument property window seems to default to C3 for ALL drm instruments. Obviously this is a problem if you are saving midi files from Hydrogen to load into a DAW.

I searched the manual on how to set and save midi note values but I can not find any mention at all of saving midi note values in the manual.

I tried changing a few midi note values in a kit and noticed that ALL the kits have been changed. This would seem to be a problem as not all kits are the same (not all GM compliant). Why is this ?  Also once you quit all your settings are lost.

Lastly there seems to be no way to save an individual kit with its assigned midi note values.  I tried various ways but after quiting and restarting Hydrogen it went back to the default of ALL intruments set to C3 again.

What am I missing ?   Is there no way to save the midi note values in the midi note instrument property window to GM or whatever setting you are using for each drum kit ?

Thank you......
