Hi, I'd like to control the BPM of hydrogen with a MIDI knob.

I think the best way is to map the knob to the BPM_CC_RELATIVE midi action, but even if I move the knob forward or backward the BPM value alway decrement (until it reach 40bpm).

I'm using Hydrogen 0.9.5.

thanks

Can anybody reproduce this?

Hi!

I can reproduce this behaviour here. It is not really a bug, it is just that hydrogen makes other assumptions on your midi input then you did :) I suppose that you configured your controller that it sends values from 0 - 127 to hydrogen. But what hydrogen expected was: A negative value to decrease the tempo and a positive one to increase it.

I've changed this behaviour now to fit to make it easier to use.. now it decreases the tempo if the cc parameter is bigger then the one before and it decreases the temp if the cc parameter is smaller then the one before. I hope that this is more intuitive and better suited to common midi gear. I've commited this to trunk  now so this change will appear in hydrogen 0.9.6. You can build hydrogen from svn to get that feature now!
