Here I want to post drumtracks, that I've made for my trash metal songs. I've decided to record them using only free programms, plugins and samples. So, for drums I use Hydrogen with GSCW-2 samples, for guitar and bass I'm going to use guitarix, and also I plan to use Ardour to record and mix them.

I've posted these tracks mostly to hear your critics and suggestions, how to make this tracks sound more natural.  =)

Hi!

I've just checked the first and the last tracks and both are quite fine! Sounds really human. The blast parts are sometimes a little bit too perfect, but the other parts are well done. I'm eager to hear the guitar parts, so keep us updated!

Tried to find the right guitar sound for this songs, recorded a part as a draft.

4 guitar tracks, two guitars. All effects by guitarix =)

It takes me about 4 or 5 hours to make one song, but I think, it's very long, because I'm a beginner. I think that with some experience you can make tracks faster=)

That is not bad considering they are not basic sounding especially the long tom part you had in the middle.  I am looking at doing my own recording and was debating on getting EZdrummer or similiar and I came across this program.  So tonight I am going to try to put some beats together.  Hopefully I can get them to sound as good as yours. Very impressed!!

I'm impressed how good the guitar sounds are. Do you have a real guitar, or are they all the way computer generated?

Yes! I've played two real guitars. I've recorded four tracks, two for each guitar, and used guitarix application to emulate Marshall and Mesa Boogie stacks. =)
