My h2song file is muted - I don't know why.

Hi all!

First of all, thanks for getting Hydrogen working on OSX.  I used to use the Ubuntu version in my attempts to transcribe drum patterns for songs I'd like to learn. It's perfect for what I am trying to do.

I have a slight problem which could either be something really dumb that I've done by accident or there's a bug in the software.

As far as I know it was working just fine and then I opened it a couple of days back and it wouldn't play. It still has the patterns stored and looks as if it is playing them, but it is muted (but it doesn't actually look like it has been muted).

Can you download the file and see if there is an obvious problem?

Hi!

Make sure that you have the drumkit  installed on OS X that you've used on Ubuntu!

Hi,

The file was created in my OSX version.  I haven't opened it or saved it on my Ubuntu machine. :)

Any chance you can download the file and see what happens in your version of Hydrogen?

Hi!

That path names in your song file are wrong.. it looks like you ran hydrogen directly from the DMG and not from disk. Now hydrogen looks in the path of the dmg for the drumkits, but the dmg is not mounted anymore. What happens if you just load another drumkit for that song?

Hi Mauser.

Thanks very much for your help. I've moved my installation to it's own folder within Applications and then adjusted the filepaths for the kits in the XML using Coda. It now works perfectly. Thankyou very much for your help!

I had the same problem 2 months before but fortunately it get fixed by itself. I think that is a problem with selecting the bit rate. Please shed some light on this problem. Dont know it will happen again. Thank you in advance..
