Hey, new to the forums. Just a bored graphic designer loving this software!

Ok I know I reported this to the dev mailing list already, about having a 'on-top/sticky' feature for the mixer window but what if.... it could just be implemented like the pattern editor window is? with the ability to drag it up/down.. or perhaps 'one click collpase/open'.

I have thrown together yet another mock up of how this would look, and it fits perfect in my resolution. I've included the drag bar below the pattern editor, but at the bottom of the mixer. I personally believe it could make workflow easier if it were able to just open/close the mixer. The dragable option like the pattern editor has is nice, but this is speaking with having the mixer window displayed entirely without having to scroll vertically, only horizontally.. or not displayed at all.

in this screenshot there are also some suggested changes i've already sent to the dev mailing list, such as a different text color for highlighted instruments (easier on the eyes), and the replacement of mute/solo icons for the instrument tracks. I've also lowered the opacity of the white text color labels for 'unselected' instrument tracks. to me it seems a bit easier on the eyes as well, but its more of an aesthethic change.

Ciao!

Hi,

there is already the "Mixer" button (at the top right area of the gui) which provides that "one click collapse/open". Or the shortcut "alt + m".
