Having imported the audio files and having created a new library, it is possible to create a file with the extension " H2DRUMKIT. I would like to put it with the other libraries (C:\Program Files\Hydrogen\dossier snapshot\Hydrogen\data\drumkits \)

Thank you.

Sure! There is a point "Export library" or sth. like this in the "Instruments" menu.

For submission into the contest, what kind of name should we give the files?

I think there is no convention.. It should describe the content :)

Ok, how exactly does one save a kit???
I've been doignt he following:
1. Created new instruments and allocated samples;
2. Made patterns...
[Now I want to save the kit]
3. Clicked on "instruments", "export library".
[a box comes up: it has a browse bar and a drop down box that has "GMkit", "Kawai...", "Ratmilk"]
4. Typed into the browse bar where on my computer I wanted to save the kit; I left the drop box in its default state "GMkit".
5. Clicked export
[Box comes up saying "drum kit exported"

The problemo:
The file that I created using the above method is nowhere to be found on my computer; running around the folder I directed it to, it was not there, nor any other folder within that which was created upon installation of hydrgen. :/

WHAT'S GOING ON??? :O

What should be typed into the browse bar, and what do the different selections in the drop box do? Which should I use?
Am I even on the right track??

Sorry, I'm a newbie with hydrogen, but I'm psyched about this competition! :D
