Hi everyone,

I've recently started using Hydrogen, and I'm really impressed. Linux is all I use now, and my PC is running KXStudio, which is awesome. And Hydrogen integrates really nicely.

I'd like to know: can Hydrogen create patterns by itself?  (I'd like to have random patterns to play around with.)

Also, is there a place where people are sharing their patterns?

Thanks to everyone in advance,

brian

create random patterns : shure, just close your eyes and click away !!  ;-)

you can download and install patterns just like you would install a drumkit (see this http://www.hydrogen-music.org/hcms/node/5#sect.userdrumkits)

the patterns you download will show up in the sound library under Patterns

the only problem is that there is currently only 1 pattern available :-S

this will probably be our next focus : gathering more patterns

Thanks thijs.

I just thought it would be cool to be able to click a "random pattern" button, and it would make it immediately, ready to try. If you don't like the sound, click again!  --It could lead to some inspiring stuff! Esp if you set the beats to an unusual number... :D

Having a pattern library to contribute and share on would be cool, too!

Loving Hydrogen! Kudos to you all!
