instrument out on own channel and NOT in master out? Linux/Jack

Hi folks,

I routed an instrument on it's own channel (I am using Hydrogen Linux / Jack Audio) to an output on my sound Interface (I need it for syncing my Korg Monotribe)

Now I am failing to cut this instrument off the master out.

Is it possible to route a single instrument on a different channel and have it muted in master out?

Bye,

interesting, did you mean something like tempo sync to the monotribe? however, as i now it is not possible to mute such a instrument on the master outputs. a workaround could be to disconnect the master outputs via jack and only connect the instrument outs to your system outputs as you need it.

Hi,

yes, I recorded the click from the sync out jack of the monotribe, you have to give 8 clicks a bar to the sync in jack, that's why I just could not replace the Ardour click.

However, my workaround is, that I just start another instance of Hydrogen with only one instrument with the click sample.
