Hi everybody. I was wondering if there is any way to import many samples into hydrogen instead of importing them one at time with "load layer", etc.

In this topic it says it's possible, but i don't understand where is the audio-file browser. :-/

Thanks in advance for your help.

hi,

i must say i didnt know that either :-)  i will check it out today

an other way to do this (linux only) is to use this script

it helps you to create a complete drumkit starting from a bunch of samples

Is there any way to import correctly multiple samples?I try to import 9 wav snares but hydrogen randomly imports only 3 samples. The samples are 16bit 44100Hz mono.

I use the 0.9.6 version on debian based AVLinux.

PS.I wont use the script.Renaming 100+ files is nogo for me.But nice shot!

Hi!

How are you importing the samples exactly? Are you selecting them with the ctrl-key? Please describe a little bit more what goes wrong..

Just tried again and found out that if I select all samples with ctrl-A then I have the problem I described. But if I choose them one-by-one holding the ctrl key it works correctly !Is it desktop-manager dependent?

Thank you for your help(couldn't figure it out!)

My (leokn) question:What do you mean by git repository...what must I do to download something from a git repository?
