Hi,

I've done cli app for export h2song. Please add this to official release.

Note: please rename main.cpp to main.txt (OFC).

Hi!

Sorry for the late reply! Yes, but i would like to change the implementation before i commit it. I would like to integrate it in h2cli or/and in hydrogen itself rather then in a new tool. At the moment i don't see a reason for another tool, it is just more work to maintain it.

Hello,

No problem , but ..

1) It's Unix idea one-tool-one-task

2) I can maintain this code if you wish

3) Eventually , I can even merge it with h2cli - if you wish. Initially I even thougt just extend h2player , but it you have right - merge with h2cli is better idea.

If you helpfull hand , just call me ;-)

Hi!

Well, hydrogen does not follow the Unix paradigm ("everything is a filter", "one tool per task") at all. It is more or less quite the opposite - it combines several basic units into one tool (a sequencer, a sampler, a sampe editor etc.). But that's just a note :)

It would be great if you could merge it with h2cli, that would be fine for me! Could you send a patch or a git pull request with the merged code? And don't be afraid to ask, i'm replying not fast, but i'll try to :)

Then h2player and h2cli mislead me ;-)

But OFC it's no problem for me to merge code. When I will be ready then I post it on maillist - because this thread initially was only an info for regular users about possibility.

Thanks for answer.
