Hello,

I've got an lot of sounds that i would like to produce as an drumkit and make available,

I've got to many sounds to put in individually through the hydrogen program one by one,

I have constructed an program that was intended to construct an drumkit of an list of files specified, with standard default settings for the attack, delay etc.

I inferred the xml structure of an drumkit from one of the constructed drumkits, but did not do it correctly,
as when i opened the drumkit through hydrogen, the drumkit did not work.

Do you have an xml schema for the drum kit that i could have access to,

Once i have the drumkit constructor program working, i will then make the program available to people.

Hi!

One of forum member, thijs, has already written a script which should be similar to your idea. You can find more informations here: http://audio-and-linux.blogspot.de/2012/04/hydrogen-drumkit-creator-scri...

But back to your core question: The xsd file is in the data/xsd directory of the hydrogen sourcecode.

Best regards,

Hello Sebastian,

I picked up the xsd on tuesday.(25th july)

Didn't find it that useful because of the many tables within the one xsd.

But i went through an working drumkits xml again,

and managed to find an element that worked when constructed with the program,

therefore, i managed to get version one complete yesterday, and i completed an second version of the program today.

I tried the program and have been able to successfully complete the construction of an drumkit of 993 seperate sounds in an few seconds.

I'm gonna do an couple of checks on the programs tom then hopefully make the programs available to donwload on monday next week.

These drumkit folder and contents constructed with the programs can be copied and pasted into other users drumkit stores and they should work.

There seems to be an error with the version of hydrogen i'm use-ing with the export drumkit, the program says drumkit expoted but it does not export the drumkit

i mention this as i'm not sure yet how to make the constructed drumkits available through the option within the program, where the program checks an internet location for new drumkits.

i'll post another comment on monday if not before,

Have you checked www.lslsoftware.com/sounds.aspx yet?

There's songs/tracks on their by XX12 constructed use-ing hydrogen

Regards

Hello,

I've checked the programs over the last couple of days found no errors, though there may still be some.
I'm going to construct an webpage for the LSLsoftware website and offer the program/installer for free from there.

I'll post another comment when i've constructed and uploaded the webpage

Really shame that this is M$ only, while hydrogen idea is to be multiplatform.

I do not make porgrams for other operat-ing systems yet,

if I get an couple of requests to do so,, I can make an web-based version and make that available on the LSLsoftware website, which would enable other operating systems, but I am currently complete-ing other projects.

Otherwise, you are going to have to hold on for an couple of months till i construct the program on other operating systems.

Post requests for an web based version on this forum thread
