Exporting separate tracks broken?

I need to know if exporting separate tracks is broken in the latest Windows version of Hydrogen? I can't get it to work. When I Google the problem, other people seem to have similar frustration, but there is no reply to their posts that mentions a fix.

I noticed the docs for JACK mentioned something about separate outputs for tracks, so I installed that following the instructions step by step. Hydrogen can't even see JACK. Another Windows problem? If so, I'll uninstall JACK.

As far as I know, exporting has nothing to do with multiple outputs : multiple outputs deal with playing the music you have made, but exporting deals with creating audio files that include the music you have made.

I had problems with previous versions of H2, as exporting instrument files (tracks) one by one was lengthy and fragile, with H2 closing suddenly during the process, and ther was no other way to do it.

With 0.9.6, under Win 7 (I'll try with XPSP3 if I can get time), one can just export separate tracks at once and there's no freezing nor crashing when I do it. But it has nothing to do with Jack, one can select portaudio instead if it works better.

And certainly selecting separate outputs for tracks doesn't help, as it unnecessarily uses resources of the computer.

Indeed, I do not remember if I had selected anything other than the default options when I tested multitrack export.

Hope this helps.

I too am having a problem exporting seperate tracks. I exported 14 seperate tracks and the Closed Hi Hat track plays silence even though 'properties' shows that it has 22 MB of data....meanwhile,  the crash track plays every sound on every track. All other tracks came out great. I am running Windows 7.....is this a common problem? Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. We have a gig in a few months!

This problem should be fixed in the most recent version 0.9.7 (it's still a development release, but most things I've tried in it work).
