When I run hydrogen, I get this message constantly until I quit the application.
It seems that my drumbeats are now a bit skippy, meaning that they aren't metronomiically tight. I feel that this has something to do with it, so if anybody could tell me what this message means I would appreciate it

[ERROR] AlsaAudioDriver [alsaAudioDriver_processCaller] XRUN

this means that your current system setup is not ok for realtime audio applications.
A quick solution is to increase the buffer size of the audio driver to an higher value (like 4096).
If using the 2.6 kernel make sure to use the realtime-lsm module.
You can find it here: http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=106645

ope this helps
