Hi,

I made a drumkit from LMMS's samples (LMMS aim to be a fruityloops clone for Linux and is developped by Tobias Doerffel, see http://lmms.sf.net)

LMMS has many good features for music production :
- synthesizers
- VST host
- a "real" sequencer

But it is not stable enough in my opinion (in comparaison to Hydrogen)

This drumkit has 169 instruments so if you want to use it you must compile hydrogen setting MAX_INSTRUMENT to some value higher than 169 in the source file libs/hydrogen/include/hydrogen/Globals.h

Unfortunaly some of these samples have a poor quality, all samples were OGG Vorbis files... I'll try to made another kit selecting the best of this 169 samples.

This kit is 37.7Mo and can be downloaded at :

Have a nice day.

I increased to 256 the max number of instruments in the 0.9.4 branch.
But...what license this drumkit is using? are the samples free?

Great that you increased it to 256. ;)

LMMS is released under the GNU GPL (General Public License).
Dont know what license the samples are. :(
