My first kit:

Two years ago I recorded a demo with my band (see if you're interested in it) and as I still have the master "tapes" (Cubase projects with all source audio) I thought that I might as well make a Hydrogen kit from the drum tracks.

So after cutting out 69 different sounds I settled on these 24. The kick drum sounds are awesome IMO, the cymbals and hi-hats sounds are quite poor (as they had to be cut off to avoid leakage from other parts of the kit) and the rest is quite OK.

You can hear a demo of it here:
And download it here:

Maybe I should EQ some of the sounds? Lower the hi-hats? I'd be happy to get some feedback.

ps. I dubbed it "Aqoustic" because the drummer's last name begins with Aq.. so it's not because I think alternative spellings are hip or something :P.

Also, in a month or so we will be recording with our new drummer and his absolutely fantastic rock/metal kit. I'll make sure to get each drum and cymbal separately so that I can make a Hydrogen kit out of it.

Nice kit! yes, some sounds are a bit too short but are still usable.

I'm eager to here your new metal kit! (yes..I like metal!)

Thanks for the kit, apparatus. The demo sounds really nice. I'll have to play around with this.

that would be great as I use Hydrogen for rock/metal music.
can you multi-layer the kit?
Your first kit is not too bad. I liked it.
