Hi all, like I said in a forum post the project is very far from being a dead project :-)

The current development status is that I'm very near to a new release, the 0.9.4.
This will be a very important release since the switch to QT4, the http download of drumkits and a new user interface.
The real user interface change is scheduled for the 0.9.5 release, but me and Artemio are trying to get most of the work ready now.
Another thing is the real portability over platform. Hydrogen is born on linux, but now can live in macosx and windows environment. Some work still need to be done on windows but on macs it's almost ready.
There will be another change in the "live mode". I'm working on the ability to select and play multiple patterns at once even in "live mode". The details still need to be better defined, but hope you like it :-)

Another problem I'm trying to address is the lack of documentation...slowly I'm writing some pages in the development wiki about the hydrogen audio engine and gui internals, and some pages that hopefully will help new contributors.

Thats all for now, happy drumming :-D

Any development snapshots until then? :D

Sounds interesting!
I kind of thought the project was dead...

I downloaded and played around with your drum machine, and I have to say that it's really a great program. I am a Win user, so I am unable to functionally DL new drum kits, but I am eagerly awaiting the next releases to see if that problem is fixed. The interface is wonderful, the program is fast, and the sounds are great! Keep up the good work and thanks!

just wanted to congratulate all the developers behind this project, it is an absolutely wonderful tool - simple but very flexible, Thanks for making it available to all of us!!!

Hey Comix how much longer before you release the newer Windows version of Hydrogen with less bugs? Will the newer version for Windows be 0.95?

Comix can you make Hydrogen as a VSTI plugin for Windows?

I love the standalone, but i would love it even more if i could use this inside my host. Could you do this as a request?

It is a great work from the team ...I appreciate it...But would some one educate me with a tip..Is there any way i can copy a pattern from one song to another song so that I can use the same pattern in two different songs...? I am sorry If I am posting the question in the wrong section...please help

currently there's no way to copy a pattern from a song to another. One of the scheduled task for the next release is the ability to export/import a pattern from a song. Hope this will help in reusing the patterns you made.
